We launched with the sun and arrived at our dive site not long after. The sharks had other plans and whilst we were awake and ready to go they took on an hour to show up to the boat, but once they did the activity was fantastic! We had two juveniles first up that were not that interested in hanging around for long. Luckily the next two to arrive were a 3.3m female and “Poseidon” a 3.1m satellite SPOT tagged male, both of whom were very happy to get nice and close for our divers to have a look and also leap out of the water for those on board to enjoy! The second trip of the day was an exclusive for a family from America. While this trip started off with a little rain didn’t dampen the spirits of neither the divers or the sharks. Both the female and “Poseidon” were around again from the first trip with the addition of another male with a bent dorsal fin. The third and final trip of the day launched in to some increased weather conditions as the wind had been increasing throughout the day thankfully the sharks yet again were happy to come around and we had a great number of individuals visiting throughout the afternoon. Three wonderful trips out on the water…
