Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility:  Good

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seals, Short-tail stingray

Trip Summary: Today, we launched from Kleinbaai Harbour with a light breeze. After a short ride aboard our flagship vessel, Slashfin, we arrived at our final anchoring site for the day. Our guests suited up in their 5 mm wetsuits and booties, ready for their shark diving experience! After a short wait, our first Bronze whaler shark made an appearance. Our guests enjoyed spectacular sightings both from the boat and beneath the water’s surface! We were also lucky enough to receive a visit from a Cape fur seal as well as a short-tail stingray.  What a day it was! A big thank you to all our guests for joining us today!
