With yesterday's success we were all excited to head back out onto the water to see the White sharks…

First day of the New Year was a good one with double figure sightings on each of the tree trips…

CRAZY, is the word needed to describe today’s trip which was very dramatic throughout! The sharks were putting on a true spectacle for everyone to enjoy and they came prepared with their teeth out! The sharks have been average in size over the last few days with no real mentionable big sharks making an appearance. “Zane” however did show up and was the largest shark of the day at a size of 3.9 meters, which is still big in my book! Our youngest guest was only 6 years old and he made the most adorable seal noises in the cage, I believe it was seal noises :)! We had a big family of 10 people, demonstrating once again that shark cage diving is for young, old and the whole family. Great day..

What a very special day it was on the boat today! We were celebrating a honeymoon with some newlyweds as well as having a party with one of our birthday girls on board! The shark sightings were very active and we barely had to wait 5 minutes for them to arrive! We had several large sharks today with the largest being 4 meters. The increase in wind gust resulted in a large drop in visibility in the water; however the sharks were very accommodating in this regard by simply coming closer to the cage :)! A couple of interesting sightings, other than the sharks of course, were some peculiar jellyfish in the water! I am still going to find out the species name, but if anyone knows its name please comment on the blog! I have added a photo of one of our local Gannets as well! A very entertaining day today…
