The tide in our harbour was a bit low this morning…

We had an early start this morning and because of the low tides we had to launch from Gansbaai Harbour. While this is approximately a 20 minutes longer journey to our dive site it is also a very interesting one… 

We set off on our short walk from The Great White House down the street to the harbour and was met with the sight of some impressive 4.0m swell coming in! Luckily, Slashfin, our custom built shark cage diving vessel… 

We launched from Gansbaai Harbour this morning due to low tides and made our way around Danger Point and into the Shallows. Once at our dive site… 

This morning saw another launch from Gansbaai Harbour as we continue to see low tides, however these launches allow for our groups to see more of the area including Danger Point and learn a little about the HMAS Birkenhead… 

Due to the low tides this morning we launched from Gansbaai Harbour today and headed around Danger Point to our dive site at the back of Geyser Rock…
