Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingrays + Cape fur seal
Summary: A pleasant day on the water, with low swell and clear skies. Launching from Kleinbaai Harbour, we made our way to the shallows, where we dropped anchor and awaited on the arrival of our first sighting, the Bronze whaler sharks. Favourable visibility allowed good sightings of the sharks. As the trip continued, Short-tail stingrays came up close to the cage, with two individuals offering an extra interaction with the marine life of Gansbaai. For our second trip off the day it was the Short-tail Stingrays who was the stars of our trip! But we also had three different Bronze whaler sharks coming close to our divers in the cage! Thank you to all who joined us on board today!
