Sightings: Southern Right Whale, Indian Ocean Humpback dolphins
Trip Summary: A sharkless day on the water, but thankfully our additional marine life made up for it! On anchor, we had our first sightings of the Southern Right whales, a mother and calf pair who cruised past our anchor point. Additionally, we had some coastal birds such as the White-chinned petrel and Giant petrel. Leaving the dive site, we encountered the Indian Ocean Humpback dolphins playing within the surf, before some more Southern Right whales intercepted our return to the harbour. Thank you to everyone who joined us today, it was a pleasure having you on board!
