Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Cold

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Southern Right Whale, Indian Ocean Humpback dolphins

Trip Summary: Another sharkless day on the water, but wildlife still made up for it!  Just after 5 minutes in the bay we encountered 3 Southern Right whales, a mother and calf pair who cruised past our vessel as well as another individuals a bit in the distance. To conclude the trip we went around the dyer island ecosystem to witness thousands of Cape fur seal and were lucky enough to spot a raft of the critically endangered African Penguins as well as an Elephant seal. Thank you to everyone who joined us today, it was a pleasure having you on board!
