With three days of sharks sightings after three weeks of disappearing White sharks we had hoped that the sharks were back to stay however today proved us wrong with no sightings out on the water by any of the boats in the area unfortunately. We anchored in the Shallows for both our morning and afternoon trip today and whilst we patiently awaited the arrival of a shark some of our divers decided to enjoy a refreshing dip in the water, however many didn’t last long with a noticable drop in the water temperature over the last few days but thank you for making the most of your time out on the water! Both trips enjoyed the sight of Dyer Island and Geyser Rock at the end of their trips today as we headed out to see some of the other inhabitants of this area, the Cape Fur seal. Always an interesting animal to watch, especially at the moment with the large bull seals still around and the pups huddling in their groups! We truly hope that this is not a repeat of the three week lack of sharks we experienced in January and that we see our White sharks soon again. Thank you to all that joined us out on Slashfin today we appreciate your understanding emensly…
