Wow! What a wonderful day. We headed out this morning with the sun shining on our vessel full of excited divers in the direction of Geldsteen, an area that we are having a lot of luck in lately given we have good weather and water conditions. The luck was on our side again today after a bit of a slow start we had a small male with a satellite tag come flying in front of the cage and not long after some speedy juveniles followed suit. Our largest of the day was a 4.0m female, who showed the divers on board with us that the stereotypical idea of Great Whites being aggressive rogue like creatures as portrayed in media and films such as “Jaws” is generally not true as she calmly and gracefully glided by the boat! Its days like these that you can truly appreciate and respect the magnificence of these creatures…
