Go pro owners were happy today-another incredible trip with abundant shark sightings in crystal clear underwater visibility! After half an hour on anchor the first shark arrived and they just didn’t stop until we left 4 hours later! The divers were well and truly spoiled with excellent conditions. ‘Mini Rosie’ and an acoustically tagged male made numerous passes by the cage, aswell as ‘Little Nemo’, ‘Cutfin’ and ‘Dolphinfin’- all regulars we recognise from the past few weeks. As we drove back through the shallows we even spotted a white shark cruising in the surf. A stunning trip!
One lucky again to see the sharks after just arriving at the anchor spot. The first shark we spotted was ‘Rosie’, what beauty. She was entertaining the diver in the cage while passing it slowly. We also had a few smaller sharks which have been a bit more active. During the whole trip we had ten different sharks, ‘Rosie’ was our biggest one with 4.2m but we also had two big males around which were estimated at a size of 4m. We looking forward to more shark activity tomorrow.
