A nice early wake up call for all this morning with Slashfin launching at 7:30am to try and beat some bad weather conditions rolling in as the day progressed! We were treated to some stunning views as we headed into the shallows with the rising sun trying its hardest to break through the clouds and thankfully the conditions in the beginning were not bad at all and best of all the sharks were there from the start! The first two sharks arrived in quick succession, both feisty juveniles , set on showing off their speed and agility before the larger sharks came in. Gliding out of the depths ,up came our largest shark of the day, a 4m+ female we have seen quite frequently in the shallows for the last month. She is easily identifiable by a white dot on her dorsal fin and of course her impressive size! We also had a friendly Short-tailed stingray come up for a visit. Towards the end of the trip the conditions had picked up noticeable so back to the harbour we went with the image of dry, still land and hot soup waiting for us on arrival keeping us warm. Thank you to all the brave cage divers who joined us for a great adventure this morning…
