An early start for our visitors today but thankfully it was worth it as the sharks we ready to go with out first shark of the day arriving 25 minutes after we did! Next to show was “Mini Nemo” the tiny but feisty little male we are always happy to see. Towards the end of the trip we had an amazing view of a larger shark coming in, an approximately 4.2m female came gliding into view sending many into a clicking frenzy and leaving others frozen in their spot! The second trip of the day saw many of the same individuals make a return and thankfully exhibiting similar, active behaviour to what we had seen on the earlier trip. The third and final trip of the day saw “Mini Nemo” save the day arriving close to an hour after we arrived back at the dive site. We can always count on “Mini Nemo” to save the day by showing up because it is very rare for this shark to be shy and can usually be found to provide some very nice views for everyone on board and in the cage! We also welcomed back one of our named sharks, “Alvin” a male approximately 3.4m in length and easily recognisable by an healed injury to his dorsal fin that has healed by still indented on the leading edge of his fin. Welcome back “Alvin” we hope to see more of you soon…
