Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Broadnose sevengill, Short-tail stingray + Cape fur seals

Trip Summary: Blue skies, low wind and reduced swell – the perfect conditions for an afternoon on the water. As well as great weather, clients were also blessed with incredible sightings. Starting the trip off from Kleinbaai harbour, the dive site was awaiting in the shallows of our bay. Bronze whaler sharks were the first to arrive, a daily favourite for us in Gansbaai, spoiling clients with higher numbers and up close sightings. Additionally, a large Broadnose sevengill arrived on the bait line, a prehistoric species that upped the shark count for the day. Finally, the impressively sized Short-tail stingray made a turn, a species that spends most of their time in the benthic environment of our sandy bay. A successful day for clients and crew alike, thank you to everyone who joined us on board!
