Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingray + Cape fur seal
Trip Summary: An exciting day on the water with incredible sightings and beautiful weather conditions. Calm waters and blue skies awaited us as the dive site, with divers soon in their wetsuits before the arrival of our first Short-tail stingray. Through the duration of the first trip, three stingrays were seen in total, with one that has been sighted in Gansbaai for over 12 years! The Bronze whaler sharks were also present in greater numbers, with individuals of varying sizes, subadult all the way to mature sharks that exceeded the 3m mark! A day on the water is not complete without the playful Cape fur seals, with clients being able to witness a few around the waters of the boat on anchor. Thank you to everyone who joined us today, it was a pleasure having you on board!
