Daily Blog 18 March 2025 | Shark Cage Diving in South Africa

18/03/2025

Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seal

Summary: We had a lovely sunny day on the water, though it was a bit slower activity today! Our first sighting of a Bronze Whaler shark came quickly, but the action was a bit inconsistent throughout the day. In total, we spotted three different Bronze Whalers and even got to see a Cape Fur Seal hunting benthic sharks near our boat! A big thank you to everyone who joined us today!
