On the first trip of the day we didn’t have to wait long until our first great white shark showed up around the cage. A juvenile 2 m shark came cautiously to the bait. The shark was slow and calm when investigating the bait line and decoy. A second and third shark came to the bait within 20 minutes of each other, but did not stay too long around the cage. We were once again visited by 2 short tail sting rays at the bait, with one showing great interest and even mouthing at the decoy. The sting rays stayed around on and off for over an hour. The second trip saw 4 white sharks around the boat, including a shark we know as mini Mike Tyson aptly named due to a swelling on the right side of his face. The third trip although a little choppy had a great close up encounter with a juvenile white shark who swam right up close to the cage meeting our guests face to face in the water. Awesome shark viewing!
