Trip 1
Slashfin launched early this morning with perfect conditions on the bay. Our guests showed a lot of patience this morning with a two hour wait for the first shark to arrive. We were lucky enough to see two of our tagged animals, although they were both juveniles, they showed some amazing activity around the boat. This trip also had our largest sharks of the day which was 4.4 metres in length.

Trip 2
The second trip of the day had the first shark arriving within minutes of the boat anchoring. Two of the sharks that showed up were those recently tagged by Dyer Island Conservation Trust. One was a large female which was 4.0 metres in length and the other a smaller shark of around 2.8 metres. The large female wowed everyone on board with her size and exciting behaviour. The last shark of the day was a recently adopted shark known as “3 bird”. We have seen her in the bay for the past six weeks and regularly visits our boat. It is very easy to see why she is popular with the clients.
