Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Moderate

Sightings: Bronze whalers, Cape fur seal, Broadnose Sevengill shark

Today we started not too early. The sky was a bit cloudy, but that didn’t affect our desire to get out at sea! The sun came out as soon as we got to the anchor spot and the sharks didn’t make us wait for too long either. Bronze whalers were active and came often and close to the cage. And we also had a cape fur seal popping up occasionally around the vessel and also showing off his food to us. And as we thought we couldn’t ask for more a broadnose sevengill shark arrived! Absolutely stunning and filled with wildlife day at sea for our guests and the crew.
