Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 15.4’C
Depth: 7.9m
Visibility: 2.5m
Number of Sharks: 3 + 4
Conditions: Small swells and some chop

We had an overcast sky hanging over our heads this morning as we headed out and it seemed to be affecting the sharks moods as it took us close to two hours to see our first shark, however our first shark just happened to be one of our favourites known as “Fishing Line Shark”, a small female that is seen to be very active around the boat. The other sharks we had this morning were similar in size but not as active as “FLS”! Our second trip of the day continued in a similar fashion with two of our morning sharks reappearing throughout the afternoon with the addition of our largest shark of the day, a 3.4m individual with a distinctive notch in its dorsal fin. A slow but satisfying day out in the Dam…
