Location: Joubertsdam

Water Temperature: 16.1’C

Depth: 12.2

Visibility: 2.0m

Number of Sharks: 5 + 10

Conditions: Overcast skies with choppy swell and increasing winds

Whilst we didn’t experience the best conditions out on the water today, the action was there from the get go with the arrival of a 4.0m beauty only 15 minutes after anchor. Not only did the first trip have an array of curious Great Whites around, including our newly named juvenile male “Jacob”, they also had an interesting sighting of a Cape Fur Seal darting around the boat. This particular one was a very lucky seal and was last seen safely intact swimming away! The second trip of the day saw our toothy visitors around the boat quickly and throughout the afternoon in great numbers! We had a number of returnees from the first trip and some new individuals show up. Another great day with Marine Dynamics…
