Trip Comments:

As water temperature keeps dropping we’re still seeing a lot of different sharks in all sizes. Water temperature was 13.4C while we got out for our first trip and it was down to 12.2C when we got back for our second trip. Despite the colder waters we are still seeing a lot of sharks. Today we got to see several different personalities varying from slow sharks that were spending a lot of time near the surface level of the water to breaching sharks that made only two attempts to get the bait and decoy. The biggest shark we saw today was a male close to 4.5m and he had some copepods on the left side of its head!

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then Shark Diving in Gansbaai, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss. Book and pay online with us and get a free video of your encounter with the world’s apex predator.
