Another early start today as we were trying to get all our divers out there before the bad weather conditions settled in! The first trip this morning experienced comfortable conditions with the sun shining and a light wind and swell, however the sharks were slow and didn’t appear until two hours after anchoring. The first shark of the day gave way for two others including “Jacob” who unfortunately was not acting himself and took only a few impressive passes but did not stick around for long. By our second launch the conditions had picked up and continued to do so throughout the trip. We had one shark pop up at the beginning and continued to do so for the first two cages before things got very quite. Our third and final trip was lucky enough to witness the largest and most active shark of the day, a 3.7m individual that was continuously surfacing and coming in close to the boat! A slow but still a great day out on Slashfin…
