Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 13.9oC
Depth: 9.4m
Visibility: 1-2m
Number of Sharks: 3 + 1
Conditions: Calm waters in the morning but wind and swell picked up to a choppy sea in the afternoon. Clear skies throughout the day.

This morning’s trip left from Gansbaai harbor to a beautiful flat sea, quite in contrast to the sea the second trip left to, which was definitly much rougher, with an increased wind and swell! The sharks were also in contrast between trips today, some slower activity in the morning, although more sharks visited the boat. Some nice passes from one small juvenile initially, but not quite the activity that we got on the second trip. With some really great passes right infront the cage, and some awesome breaches as well, the guests on our second trip definitly had some fantastic luck! Just goes to show once again, trips out to see our Great Whites are never as you’d expect them to be!
