Conditions this morning were better than had been predicted, with the seas relatively calm we were able to anchor in the shallows where we have been finding sharks for the past few days. We had a short wait for our first shark which turned out to be a 3.4m individual closely followed by a shark well known to those on Slashfin as “Little Lumpy”, a feisty juvenile we have been seeing quite a lot recently at both the island and in the shallows, who stuck around with us for the entire trip! Towards the end of our trip the conditions worsened with the wind and swell picking up significantly however we missed the worse of it and had a pleasant morning out on the water…
