Location: Geldsteen

Water Temperature: 14.7oC

Visibility: 2.5m

Number of Sharks: 8 + 9

Conditions: Calm seas all day, wind increased in the afternoon but beatiful clear skies all day!

A slow start to the day on our first trip out to the Gelsteen, with not much shark activity for the majority of the first trip. Towards the end though, a couple more active sharks visited the boat, keeping us all entertained and in awe of these beautiful creatures, with some enthusiastic attempts on the bait and decoy lines, and some fantastic partial breaches. There was definitly a turning point later in the day, as on our second trip, we had some more shark activity and some fantastic passes for our clients in the cage and on the boat, the sharks once again showed us why we call them the GREAT whites!
