We launched from Kleinbaai and headed for the diving site! Once on anchor the sharks showed up almost immediately, with a 3.0m individual showing itself just after arrival quickly followed by one of the stars of the day, nicknamed by some on the boat as “Zinc” due to a little spot of white right in the centre of his snout. This shark provided some great sightings as it was so active and stuck with us for the majority of the trip. We also said hello to “Sellendilloh”, the satellite tagged shark we have been seeing frequently as of late and had a large 4.0m male cruise by as one of our last sharks of the trip, just to show all on boat the awe inspiring size these creatures can attain. The second trip launched just as the first trip divers got off the boat, the sharks also showed up quite fast once we got the cage back on the boat!  A Total of five sharks were spotted on this trip. Two now well known sharks showed up one of them was “Alvin” a 3.7m male, and a “Sellendilloh” again.  The third and final trip of the day had just as much success as the other two with the sharks being present from the get go! We had our little “Zinc” there on arrival before giving way for a whopping 4.2m male with some very distinctive scars on its head, this trip also spotted the satellite shark around the cage, thanks for sticking with us all day “Sellendilloh”! A great day, Thank you all for making it this way…
