Water Temperature: 14.2oC

 

Depth: 8.5m

 

Visibility: 3m

 

Number of Sharks: 1 + 5

 

Conditions: Overcast with some light showers on and off, but very calm seas and no wind.

 

A foggy morning greeted us as we reached our dive site this morning. A couple hours wait preceeded the appearence of our first shark of the day, and adolencent female of around 3.3 meters in length, who was the only shark of the trip, but made it count! This shark hung around for most of the trip, and gave us some fantastic views in and out the cage. Really made up for the wait! Our second trip however was the best we’ve had in a while! The shark activity was much better with 5 sharks comeing and going around the boat, a large 4 meter female also made an appearence and awed our guests with her size and magisty! Not to mention the appearence of a shark with an acoustic tag! Definitly exciting! All in all a day standing out from the last couple weeks of slow activity, hopefully it wont be a one off, but i suppose we’ll see tomorrow!
