We headed out to sea with the thought in our head that today would be the day, it had been long enough, and we are all ready to see the White sharks back in the bay. Before anchoring and getting down to business we first went to look at the Cape Fur seal colony of Geyser Rock, close enough that we could have a perfect view of some of the seals lazing around on the rocks skirting the main Island section. Into the Shallows after this and we settled on anchor and began the waiting game. Many of our guests decided quite quickly that they would like to take the plunge even without sharks around and gave the icy Atlantic waters a try. With just over three hours on sea we decided to call it a day and head back, following the setting sun as it disappeared over the surrounding mountains. Unfortunately today was not the day for our White sharks to return, we hope to have some good news soon.
