Depth: 9.3m + 8.5m
Visibility: 1.0m + 0.5m
Number of Sharks: 8 + 6
Conditions: Overcast and misty with a light wind.

The conditions this morning could easily been part of a movie set with mist rolling into the bay and giving our shark cage diversa very eerie feeling! It was a good start to the morning though with a shark spotted around the gave on arrival however this little female did not stick around and before our divers could get into the water she had disappeared but no worries within 20 minutes another White shark appeared, a larger female known to us as “Caroline”! This trip also saw a juvenile male named “Pieter” and some large females around the 3.8m length! The second trip of the day had a bit of a slow start as we waited for the sharks to reappear for about 40 minutes, however our patience was rewarded as a large male we have had frequenting the boat recently made his presence known. This male is easily recognisable by the scars along either side of its dorsal fin left by parasites, a fantastic shark to have around with some spectacular activity! Not long after this first shark the rest came to visit with several juveniles coming by including a few from the first trip. A misty but marvelous day out with the White sharks…
