Third trip of the day and, not to boast – but we did see the most sharks off all!! As we pulled up we sighted a shark with a satellite tag from the tagging programme we were a part of earlier this year. She didn’t stay but within about 10 minutes we were already up to 7 or 8 sharks! They kept coming and we ended up with a total of 11 for the afternoon. Pick of the bunch was a fairly large female with distinctive white pigmentation around the gills, pretty much all the photos of sharks close to the cage or with their mouths open are of this shark!
