Despite having a bit of swell on the water we were able to see our sharky friends again after two days of bad weather. We started the first of our two trips with a Southern Right Whale encounter just outside of the harbour en route towards our dive site. This is a true gentle giant as it just goes about its business without a care in the world, a true privileged encounter. We saw our first shark very quickly after dropping the anchor, visibility was limited today unfortunately and the water temperature dropped down a bit again but the sharks were great. Some of the sharks were a bit reluctant to engage the boat and others seemed to have missed our company on the water. “Flag” with its unique dorsal fin and “Hotspot” with its unique personality were true pleasures to have around the boat again. Great day out…
