Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 18.8’C
Depth: 13.1m
Visibility: 3m
Number of Sharks: 12+3
Conditions: Calm and slightly overcast

Everything seemed to be working in our favour today! We had minimal wait time for the arrival of our first shark, and it didn’t take long before we had reached the double digits in our shark counting! The divers got the chance to view sharks of a nice size scale, ranging from “Little Roundy” at 2.8m to an impressive 4.1m male. Even the visibility and water temperature were both fantastic, the water was warm enough that we had one diver choose to go in without a wetsuit! Shark numbers dropped on the second trip but activity picked up, as “Alvin” was off the chain with his half breaches! He managed to keep us in suspense every time, unable to predict if he was going to come up on the decoy or the bait line. It was really was a jaw-dropping day out there today…
