We had a slow start today with the better part of a two hour wait, and a change in anchor spots, before the sharks really turned up, but it was unanimous, they are well worth the wait time! We did have two sharks show up at our first anchor spot this afternoon, but they just weren’t in the mood for sticking around. Once we changed our anchor spot we ended up with 6 sharks making passes by the boat. Our largest shark of the day was a 4.3m female who actually joined us at both anchor spots, impressing all the divers in the cage and everyone on board with both her incredible length and girth! We had a birthday boy on board today, who finally got to live out a lifelong dream of diving with the Great White shark, an animal he’s loved for so long he had it tattooed on his back when he was 17, so congratulations and Happy Birthday Costas! Despite the slow start it was a gorgeous day on the water with spectacular views…
