The sharks showed no Christmas hangover at all today – which is more than could be said for us (our guests had to get up in the very early hours this morning!!)! Our first sighting was in minuets and it wasn’t long before there were plenty of sharks around Slashfin. Some of our favourites of the month were sighted including Lenny and Matilda and we ended up getting into double figures for the trip!

There was no time to waste once we arrived for our third trip – the sharks were waiting and we were able to start diving right away! We started with a large female and satellite tagged shark, these too took turns in coming nice and close to our divers before 2 sharks from the morning trip took over and stayed with us throughout the afternoon. Conditions improved as the trip went on with the wind shifting from South to Southeast and we sighted 8 sharks in total.

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then Shark Diving in Gansbaai, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss. Book online with us and get a free video of your encounter with the world’s apex predator.
