It would most definitely seem as if winter is upon us. It’s always a good idea to pack something warm when you are heading out to sea, especially if the wind is coming from the west. We were fortunate to pick up on shark action early on in the trip and they stayed constant throughout. The sharks did seem to be getting larger and larger as the trip progressed, until finally a massive 5 meter female arrived. “Princess FIFI” made her presence known; with her very unique dorsal fin in the air she made several lunges towards the bait line. Things are always exciting when you’re working with Great White Sharks. Good times…

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then Shark Diving in Gansbaai, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss. Book online with us and get a free video of your encounter with the world’s apex predator.
