Despite a long wait for the sharks to arrive, I will leave it to the pictures to depict how great the trips were. We had several sharks around the boat that were a bit “standoffish”, but it was the 3.8 female who stole the show. This shark just loved opening her jaws to the crowd. We had a spectacular sighting of a Southern Right Whale today, it was breathtaking. I first spotted the whale at roughly 300 meters away while we were on anchor, a few minutes later we saw a “fin” behind the boat. The first thing that popped into my mind, “Megalodon lives…”, after I calmed myself it was clearly a whale who wanted to just hang around the boat. This whale just kept engaging us and stayed for some time, awesome. The second trip saw our female shark return and she was spectacular as ever. A great day out…
