The big sharks seem to be taking over the bay! As if their size wasn’t impressive enough, the majority of our shark action today was coming from the larger sharks. There were at least six different Great Whites swimming around our boat today that were easily 3.7m or above. It was our largest shark, a 4.2m female, who stayed with us throughout the whole day, for both trips, constantly coming up for close passes by the cage and attempts on the decoy. “Ninja” turned up on the second trip to remind everyone just how impressive the smaller juveniles can be as well, stealing all the glory with her infamous half-breaches! We couldn’t have asked for better sharks…
