The divers were fortunate today as the visibility in the area was one of the best we’ve seen in a while! Of course there’s always a trade off for visibility this time of year and that’s the colder waters it usually comes with, the hot chocolate’s were definitely appreciated today! We had mostly juvenile sharks around the boat with the majority of the action coming from one 3.4m shark in particular who has a rather large chunk taken out of the front if her dorsal fin. Our largest shark however was a 4m male who seems to be becoming quite the regular, and always puts on a good show with up close and personal passes. The sharks were showing their true docile behaviour today, making very slow graceful passes in front of the cage. Combining that with the 3m visibility we had, made excellent conditions for the divers to be taking their underwater pictures! Let’s just hope these conditions stick around for a while…
