Today was definitely the right day for you to have packed in your winter jacket and fortunately enough we had jackets ready for all our guests! The start of our trip took us past Geyser Rock and Dyer Island for some seal viewing; it was here where we got more viewing than we had bargained for! It was truly a sad sight to have seen a Great White Shark dead on the rocks of Dyer Island. The cause of death is as of yet unknown and we are currently in the process of identifying the individual. The trip did carry on to what I think was a spectacular day! We had loads of sharks and the sighting of a massive female which was not only 4 meters in length but had massive girth. I like to refer to her as “The Bus”! What a tremendous day…

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then Shark Diving in Gansbaai, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss. Book online with us and get a free video of your encounter with the world’s apex predator.
