Despite some windy conditions we started Nelson Mandela’s birthday today on a special note, with our first sighting being two Southern Right whales. Sharks were to follow shortly thereafter and in huge numbers. Within the first 5 minutes of the trip we were lucky enough to have 4 sharks around that were all over the 4 meter marker, great way to kick off any shark trip. A few of our guests were feeling a bit green around the gills, however the sharks acted as a great distraction making them focus on more important things. All and all a great day out and hopefully next year Madiba himself will join us on a shark dive. Happy birthday once again Nelson Mandela and may there be many more…
