Although we had minimal visibility due to a plankton bloom in full force the sharks were working nicely with us today! The murky conditions were perfect for those adrenaline rushes, as it was difficult for the divers to spot the sharks until they were right in front of their faces, and the sharks were doing just that, coming up close and personal to show off. Alfred and Khwezi, our bait and decoy handlers, had their work cut out for them today, but they did a great job at spotting the sharks lurking before anyone else; especially our 4m male who kept coming round in an attempt to surprise them! We finished the trip off with a stop in Shark Alley to view all the Cape Fur seal pups on Geyser rock, an adorable sight indeed…
