Trip 1. Sea conditions have remained quite constant over the past few days with a dominating South Easter and relatively flat seas. The sharks were fantastic today with three different large sharks making an appearance. The large male, who was about 4.3 meters in length, was dubbed “Lenny” by one of our clients a fitting name to the shark. We also had “Matilda” show up in her usual dramatic way. Our third big shark was also the last to arrive; “Helen” is a massive girl with a huge prop scar. This colossal 4.6 meter female is seldom spotted, but always great to see. What a great day…
Trip 2. Water visibility contiued to improve for the second trip and finally we had it all; Lenny, Matilda, 7 other sharks great conditions and visibility! Pick of the sharks was probably Lenny who made pass after pass right in front of the cage, later in the trip some divers were lucky enough to spot both Lenny and Matilda at the same time. Always good to see a couple of big sharks but there was also pleanty of activity from the sub-adults as well today! Want to come for a cage dive this season?
