To our dismay we arrived at the dive site this morning to find the visibility had dropped right back down to half a meter, but everything looked brighter when we had our first little shark arrive within minutes of anchoring! From there the activity just kept coming; we had lots of sharks passing right up close to the cage as if they wanted a belly rub! We were all impressed when we had a 4.5m very narrow shark swim past us a few times, unfortunately she didn’t feel like showing off for the cameras at the surface though. Our second trip was dominated by a 3.0m shark who just kept turning in front of the cage and stayed with us the entire time! The Short-Tailed stingrays seem to have become quite the regular around boat recently, sighting them on both our trips again today. It’s always a nice treat to see a variety of marine life when out for the cage dive…
