We had overcast weather with drizzle for the trips today but the shark activity was plentiful as always! We were all happy to see “Little Lumpy” show up for both trips, who’s one our favourite sharks for his nice passes and jumpy personality. Our first shark of the day is also one who’s become quite a regular and is known for her speedy attempts on the bait line, we were lucky to have this energetic female stay around right to the end of our second trip! Both of these favourites are feisty sharks on the smaller side, making it even more impressive when our largest shark of the day, a 4.0m female, swam by the cage very gracefully. Tami, one of the research assistants, brought some high fashion to the shark boat today and made everyone smile with her shark themed stilettos! It’s always a fun day when it’s spent with the sharks…
