It started out overcast this morning but turned into a beautifully sunny day filled with wild life! The trip got off to a slow start with a bit of a wait time for the sharks but after an hour the sharks came flying from every direction!  They were spending so much time in the air it felt like it was raining sharks as they came down from their vertical leaps out the water.  The largest shark of the day was just under the size of the cage around 4.4m in length, and he was giving the divers some very close passes.  On the way back to the harbour we were lucky enough to spot not one but two different species of Whale!  The first was a Bryde’s Whale just as we left Dyer Island and right as we were coming into the harbour we spotted two Southern Right Whales, a mother and calf.  Nice signs that whale season is just around the corner…-Helen
