Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 13.6’C
Depth: 11.7m
Visibility: 3m
Number of Sharks: 8
Conditions: Sunny + calm

Conditions were gorgeous out there today, with flat seas, warm sun and nice visibility! The sharks arrived quickly for us this morning, and who turned up just as the first few divers were entering the cage, but none other than “Rosi”! Arriving in style as always, this 3.7m juvenile female gave us half-breaches right off the bat to make her presence known. She was clearly in the mood to play today as she stayed with us throughout the entire trip. We were all pleasantly surprised to see “Ninja” turn up for us today, we haven’t seen this 2.7m juvenile female in quite some time, but she hasn’t changed a bit; still boasting a feisty personality, she was definitely giving “Rosi” a run for her money. I’d like to give a shout out to the birthday girl on board today, Carol, who was joined by her husband Tony, and mentioned having two grandsons’ back home that have been anxiously following the blog to see how their cage dive went. So Happy Birthday Carol, and to Josh + Fin, I assure you we brought your grandparents home safely…
