Four out of the five Marine Big 5, not a bad Thursday if you ask me. We saw Great White Sharks, Southern Right Whales, Cape Fur Seals, Humpback Dolphins and several different sea bird species. We were unlucky not have spotted some African Penguins though. There is heaps of life here in the Gansbaai/Kleinbaai region; the sharks are most definitely not the only spectacular animal to be seen. We were lucky to spot the Dolphins just outside of the harbour on the return from our second trip and we saw breaching whales in the distance on our first trip. The sharks were also very active with three over the 4 meter females making an appearance today. What a jaw dropping day…
