Trip: 1
12/01/2012
Location: Dam
Water Temperature: 19.4 ‘C
Depth: 8. 12m
Visibility: 3.0m
Number of Sharks: 9
Conditions: Sunny with a light SE.
A notable improvement in regards to the waters visibility allowed for even better viewing of the sharks both in and out of the water. The trip started off a bit slow with two sharks circling the boat for a long period of time, but they were a bit reluctant to come close. Thereafter however we saw the arrival of our prop scar shark as well as our very own “Matilda”. “Matilda” has lost her tag and it would seem a bit of her playful behaviour. She made two passes and was also our largest shark of the day at 4.2 meters. All and all it was a good day…
