Thick, thick fog greeted our arrival to Joubertsdam this morning; this was thanks to little wind last night and the water temperature still cool from the south-easters of last week. Luckily this had no effect on our shark sightings with the first arrival being a satellite tagged shark from the Ocearch tagging campaign. We had our VR100 (shark tracking device) on board and were able to here as this shark came closer and closer before finally turning up at Slashfin. A few minutes later another Ocearch shark, Dorien also showed up and before long we had a lot of sharks circling. Pick of the bunch had to be Sharkius Maximus, a favourite of ours, who showed up about halfway through the trip.
