It was our first time diving around the island in what felt like an eternity and we were not disappointed. We arrived east of Shark Alley and before we had our anchor in the water, we spotted our first shark. The conditions were so flat and clear that you could see the sharks all around the boat for miles. Big sharks, smaller sharks and sharks of all sizes were around the boat, with sharks boasting some interesting scars. We also spotted a very special shark today; it is one we had saved from a fishing line entanglement. We feared the worst when we hadn’t spotted this shark over the following few weeks, after releasing it. This shark has healed tremendously and is doing very well; it is terrific to see the rewards of our efforts. Great work team…
